CD and DVD Duplication

All duplication is carried out on A-grade CD or DVD media, so you don´t have to worry about quality issues. Despite this, our machines still have a thorough system of quality control in place. A clone of your master disc is taken and then checked bit-for-bit to ensure 100% data integrity. This is then stored on a hard drive and duplications can be taken from that image. Then each disc is verified to make sure it plays properly. It´s quite a little journey those discs have to get through!

CD and DVD printing

Our full colour printers produce stunning images straight to the disc surface. There are no sticky labels printed here! Just fast, reliable machinery feeding through multiple printing plates, each one containing several discs.

Paper inlays:

From square inlays printed on one side to full colour 4 page booklets, all our paper printing is carried out on digital zerox machines, using the most up to date technology available.

Duplication or Replication?

CD and DVD Duplication:

50 to 500 copies: The duplication of discs involves the cloning of a master CD/DVD onto a hard drive where a ‘global image´ is produced and checked (verified) bit-for-bit against the original to make sure an exact copy is made. From there, we ‘burn´ the discs using robotic, multi drive machines onto A-grade blank media to ensure the best possible quality.
Duplication would be the best option to choose if you needed your discs quickly and for runs of up to 500.

CD and DVD Replication:

501 to millions: Replicating discs is a different process altogether as it involves making the CDs or DVDs themselves. In other words, there are no blank discs; the discs are manufactured from scratch.
Describing how this is done takes longer to explain. You can read about it here if you´ve got the time, but a brief description is that a ‘glass master´ is produced from the original disc and from this, copies are made. This process is sometimes referred to as ‘stamping´ or ‘pressing´ discs.
